There are many implant-based tooth restoration options available, and we look forward to providing you with the healthy, beautiful smile you deserve.

What Is Full-Arch Restoration?

Full-arch restoration is an oral surgery procedure that involves using multiple dental implants to support a fixed prosthesis. You can receive an implant-supported arch of teeth in the upper and/or lower arches. Whereas single dental implants replace individual teeth, full-arch restoration restores an entire arch of teeth, so you enjoy all the benefits of dental implants while receiving a brand new smile.

With dental implants supporting the prosthesis, your new teeth will stay in place at all times. There are no removable parts, no oral appliances, and no special cleaning products necessary. Every prosthesis is custom made for each patient, resulting in a natural-looking new arch of teeth.

Candidates for Full-Arch Restoration

Ideal candidates for full-arch restoration include patients who are fully edentulous, or missing all of their teeth, or soon-to-be edentulous. Full-arch restoration is also great for patients who have worn a removable denture for many years and are unsatisfied with the way the denture feels or functions.

If you have some healthy teeth remaining, we can still design an implant-based solution that will restore the rest of your smile while preserving the health of your existing teeth. Versatility is one of the many benefits of dental implants, and Dr. Aynechi will work with you to explore your restoration options and find the right treatment for your smile.

Types of Full-Arch Treatments

At Beverly Hills Oral Maxillofacial Surgery & Dental Implants, we offer full-arch systems from the leading manufacturers around the world. The right system for your treatment will depend on the health of your jaw bone and how many dental implants you require to secure your prosthesis.

All-on-4® Treatment Concept by Nobel Biocare

  • This graftless full-arch system uses four dental implants to support an immediately loaded fixed prosthesis. By eliminating the need for bone grafting, the All-on-4 treatment concept is shorter and more cost-effective than receiving a full mouth of individual dental implants.

TeethXpress® by BioHorizons®

  • The TeethXpress system involves placing a new arch of teeth on four, five, or six dental implants. The number of implants placed will depend on the integrity of your jaw bone.

Pro Arch by Straumann®

  • Pro Arch is another immediate fixed full-arch solution that uses four or more uniquely designed implant posts and abutments designed for each patient’s restorative needs.

Full-Arch Restoration Process

During the first visit, Dr. Aynechi will take 3D scans of your mouth and evaluate the health of your face and jaw bones. Our office uses advanced surgical planning and imaging technology. We create detailed guides to increase safety and accuracy during implant placement. We will explain all of your treatment options and walk you through every step of your procedure. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Aynechi is qualified to administer all forms of anesthesia and sedation. Most patients undergo IV sedation for full-arch replacement surgery.

On the day of your procedure, we will first administer the anesthesia and wait for it to take effect. If there are teeth in the dental arch that need to be extracted, your oral surgeon will start by extracting them. Then, the dental implants are inserted and a temporary prosthesis is attached to the implants. If your final prosthesis is ready, your surgeon will attach it at this time instead of a temporary one.

You will walk out of our office just a few hours later with a new fixed set of teeth. If a temporary prosthesis was placed, you will visit your dentist after the implants heal to receive your final prosthesis.

Types of Anesthesia

There are many types of anesthesia and sedation available.
